Small DB or Large DB? That is the question!

Over 100 pensions people have registered to attend one of our three Pensions Conferences later this month. But there is room for more delegates who are interested to hear the latest views on managing DB pension schemes.

We are very pleased to confirm our guest speakers for this conference series – Alistair McAlinden and Calum Brunton Smith from KPMG, Allan Martin of ACMCA (Glasgow on 22 March) and Howard Jones of BSW Timber (Edinburgh on 27 March).

Our Conferences are on the following dates, they all run from 8.30am to 10.30am and are free to attend.

  • Aberdeen, Tue 20 March, The Marcliffe Hotel and Spa
  • Glasgow, Thu 22 March, 200 St Vincent Street
  • Edinburgh, Tue 27 March, The Balmoral Hotel

These events will focus on the content of the DWP’s White Paper on DB pension schemes, including scheme funding, powers of the Pensions Regulator and DB consolidation. The White Paper was to be published in February but the DWP has now said it will be later in the Spring. In addition to these subjects, we will present answers to the question, Small DB or Large DB?

Please contact me (andy.thomson@tdcDB.co.uk) if you would like to attend one of our Spring Conferences.
